This isn't something new. Google does it when they want to. And they are pretty much smarter than the last update, so you are doomed if they think you are doing something out of the normal.

yes, Google keeps on Updating very often.... we have to monitor the changes atleast weekly once or twice.

Google has made some algorithm updates in July 2018 as Webmaster report, Speed update followed by this Saturday, there were some possible signals found in tracking tools. The chatter is a bit limited, more than the normal chatter. It did not shows any major effects in rankings. I think it's a bit regular routine checkup by them.

My advice; focus little on Google and mostly on creating helpful content and building strong friendships. Following these tips helps you place well in Google no matter how many algo changes they make. Any algo change just shakes out bloggers who haven't been diligently creating and connecting from a generous space. But the pros who really focus on the basics, like rendering generous service - aka Neil Patel - these bloggers rank on page 1 no matter the Google algo changes.

Keep on helping folks and making friends; no algorithm update will affect your site in negative fashion.

There is no update last week. But Google has been updating his algorithm. That's why we are facing a lot of problems to increase our website rank.
