Be aware about Yoast SEO

Hello, folks! Today I decided to shift my SEO plugin. I've been using Yoast for 3 years because it has some name in the market, but I've been kind upset with the plugin lately.

Yoast devs seem to always try to put a lot in it's plugin (really, more than it must have). Yoast guides (green/yellow/red) sucks and my websites with a gread DA/PA/Pagespeed just doesn't rank right. Also a lot people was complaning about how Yoast crashed their websites. I need something more simple that won't damage my website ranking, which is an ecommerce.

I'm about to try THE SEO FRAMEWORK, I'd like to know if someone can give me a light about this plugin or any other better than Yoast. And also, if the Yoast users are happy with the plugin.

note: I used the premium version, the video and woocommerce addon.

I've always been happy with it, had no idea about the problems.

Haven't seen anyone complaining about it crashing their site, I'm sure the developers will put things right if it's screwing up.

SEO All in One is a good alternative, if Yoast isn't your thing.

Well, you need to update urself. Yoast crashed many websites in their 7º update:

    youtube.***com/watch?v=oVswQD3xINA (check the comments section)

You can see people complaning in some blogs articles about the plugin:

    https://winningwp.com/all-in-one-seo-pack-vs-yoast-seo/

    https://www.wpbeginner.com/opinion/y...ss-seo-plugin/

    and others

The funny thing is that just like you, I didn't know about those problems until I face myself with two websites

I'm trying The SEO Framework... within a month I'll come back here and tell you if I got some significant improvement in ranks.

Keep in mind buddy; Yoast crashes sometimes because it does not work well with certain themes. Other themes have been unscathed. I've had zero issues over years.

Same here man. I run Yoast on two big blogs and have never had a problem. The only problem I have ever had with any plugins of any kind in the past is that they weren't compatible with a specific theme I was using.

I also use toast for my website but I'd look out for new seo plug in and point out the difference.

    3. Support for custom post types
    4. Canonical URL support
    5. Free WooCommerce integration
    6. Automatic or manual meta information

    Hi,

I am using yoast plugin from 4 years now, and I used it on almost 150 sites I never faced issues with the website crash or website down.

There might be other thing which are hitting badly on your website.

Is not about crashing the website, but the ranking

I have been also an old user of Yoast SEO & using for a long time but I'm also not much satisfied with Yoast SEO, I'm using a free version of Yoast SEO.

Everything was okay but now I don't see title description box under a page or post even all setting in Yoast SEO are good.

I don't understand why I don't see title & descrion box in Yoast SEO.

Yoast had an update with a glitch that decimated the rankings of a lot of site. Even though the glitch was brought to their attention, they kept quiet about it for almost 3 months before releasing a half-hearted apology and a fix for the glitch.

After that, I don't know why anyone would let Yoast on any of their sites.

    It's mostly bloated crap anyhow.

      That's what I'm saying.
Maybe if you kept using the old versions without update would work, but who knows what comes next.

Actually, we all need to be very tunes about WP plugins updates, even more the ones that affect traffic.
