Which is the best tool to find backlink from other sites?

I am interested to learn how to grab competitors Backlinks using Google! As far I know we can check out the backlinks for the sites we owned. Correct me if I am wrong!

Ahrefs is the best tool for finding backlinks, before it was free for 7days but right now it is 7 days trial for $7 but it is so effective. Beside it for free tool rankwatch works nice.

No matter which tool you ultimately decide on - Ahref, MOZ, Cognitive SEO, etc., you still have to use the best tool of all - your brain - to filter out the noise and dismiss the large percentage of worthless backlinks that your competitors have.

Penguin does not penalize for crappy, easy to get, spammy backlinks anymore and almost every website has them, whether they were obtained intentionally or not. Because of that, you will definitely waste a lot of time trying to obtain backlinks that Google is ignoring anyway.

When you compile a list of competitor backlinks, evaluate them one by one, looking to see if the site and the page they are on are relevant to your website niche. If that site/page seems to be one that could send you targeted traffic that would actually be interested in the page you want them to link to, it is probably a good link (for both SEO and traffic). Otherwise, you're probably just spinning your wheels.

Man, I read this stuff about "the best ever" and just shake my head. None of the tools are perfect; they all have their shortcomings. "The Best Ever" is really using all of them to fill the holes each tool has. Of course, pretty much only SEO firms can afford to have SEMrush, AHREFs, MOZ, Cognitive SEO, etc. We use SEMrush, but I would never describe it or any of them by themselves as "the best ever".

So far the best I've used: semrush.

The problem: only to people who are serious about online marketing, have good monthly income to cover expenses, and either doing digital agency or doing big businesses for themselves

The rest I've used kw revealer, market samurai

I think I should add tool like moz n majestic for competitors... yes SEO is not cheap for pro result

There are plenty of tools available which you can use for backlink checking. I am using SEMRush which is a paid tool. It works well for me. Other free tools that i am using are backlink checker, Linkody, the hoth back link checker etc. They have certain limitation and will not come with all the backlinks.

You got here some good advice, Let me tell you that to build solid BL profile you need to know what you are doing if you build bad profile you can get a penalty from Google.
not all of your competitors will have a good BL profile and you need to have the knowledge to recognize it.

Hey the best tools are still paid. Ahref and Semrush are good.But you can go for cheap Solutions like Linkody which is also good for finding backlinks and their Status.
