You never got that amount of visitors in a first place.
What you had was whole bunch of Bots that finally decided to stop bagging you.

So, now you have solid 100 visitors you should be graceful to have.

Seriously, look at the backlink portfolio of this website. There are an impressive 15,200 backlinks. Only from 65 domains, though. An average of 234 links per domain seems .... uhm ... not normal.

Then, when you look at the actual referring domains, you'll see that practically none of them have anything to do with what this website is about. Tons of them are directory links or from places named things like "smartseolink.org" and "hotlinks.biz" (red flag alert) or from sites written in a completely different language.

There are a few decent ones, but not enough to make a major difference in this ridiculously competitive niche and certainly not enough to outweigh the garbage links that dominate the backlink profile.

Sorry to say, but crappy links eventually catch up with you. You need to get some real links from places that actually WANT TO link to your content - not junk links that you can place yourself.

    I'd start there!

Exactly correct Dave. With this link profile I am surprised that the OP's site is even getting 100 visitors.

I think you should first get rid of those trashy backlinks so it doesn't land you in trouble.
Then you can start working on getting quality backlinks. To get quality backlinks in my opinion, you have to either do guest blogs, and for authority sites in your niche (which will also generate traffic for you), or build a name for your site in your niche enough that other sites want to link to you because you have quality content.

Backlinks are a symptom and not a cause why he is getting traffic losses.
I'm sure you don't believe that real visitors would follow these useless links
but Bots would up to point when they would move to different victims.

Would I be bothered with all those backlinks? NO
Why not? Because they are ignored by G. crawlers thus there is no harm to SERP
How do I know that? Well, because OP didn't complain about it.

Main subject is, does OP benefit from 100 visitors, if yes, then - happy days here I come

The site has nice backlinks and If you are thinking that the site drooped its ranking or traffic, then as per your site, do research for new things which are in trending. And continue your work and be relevant about your content.

    Thanks..

Yeah. This. I also want to know. Our traffic is cut to almost half. It's slowly going up but just could not break to the next level like before. That last update in August was a huge blow. Tsk!

keep updating your website with fresh and unique content on a daily basis and also try to add more quality backlinks to your pages, not only the home page.

when your rankings drop it's because someone has already taken your position, it means they've optimize their website better than yours, this means you need to gear up and improve your SEO efforts.

and also if the drop in traffic is for a short time, it might be users searching for your targeted keywords haven't been searching for the keyword for a while.

    1) I think you can use https version of your site.

    2) you have not add any details in footer section so you might add email box for newsletter subscription.

Are you making less money as a result? Have your positions changed.

Like Fast said, losing bot traffic is not a problem.

Majesticseo.com is a tool you can use to look at your backlinks.

The way to get good backlinks?

You either buy them or you create such good content that owners of sites your prospect visit would want to link to it.
