Which Pages Are Money Pages - Parent? Child? Aricle?

Hi SEOs,


When building a classic silo:
Parent
-Child
--Article


What page is typically used for the money page(s)?


I'm guessing any page can be a money page depending on the strategy, but it seems that the parent page (home page) would be a good money page for service, subscriptions, and membership websites etc.


On the other hand, the parent page would be a good information page on an affiliate site, giving some information value and encouraging visitors to visit the child categories and article money pages for affiliate products etc.



Just thought I'd ask as I've heard silo articles are supposed to only point to other article pages in the same silo (on-site), but since affiliate links are off-site I'm guessing most webmasters put them wherever needed?

    Good guessing.
    There is very good reason why we call index page gateway or landing and why
    all you have to do is to submit it to G. or Bing to have all your site's pages crawled.

    Whatever happens next is up to Algo, how it sees importance of inner structure
    to have your source placed well in SERP so you can fully benefit from from bits
    and pieces you have to offer but, everything starts with doorway to your site and
    how good you are using it.
