SEO for blogs
- SEO |
I did an introduction thread yesterday in the beginners forum, but I cant bloody find it.
oh well, I have started a new niche blog which I hope to grow mainly through SEO. I have been using trends to find key words and search terms then primarily writing articles around them. I just had an article written today by a free lance on Upwork. Great piece of work as well.
I have failed a lot over the last year online, but this has made me learn so, so much. The two areas I want to become most proficient in are SEO for articles and Facebook advertising.
I have read a lot from MOZ and others, is there any articles that 'you' people have used which you have found invaluable when it comes to learning more about SEO?
The longest article I currently have is 940 words. Informative, but do you think any site which aims to rank well on google should have a few articles of 1500+ words for 'corner stone' content?
Thanks for any replies in advance?
And no, I am not a copywriter by trade. I, unfortunately due to ill health was forced to change careers and after a year of ups and downs I have found myself over this last year, determined to 'make it online. My biggest failure was thinking everything was going to happen so quick. My time frames now are 6 months to a year to build traffic, my long term time frame is 5 years to be nearer my goals!
