How To Change URL That Displays In Google's Results??

Hi guys,

Hope all is well.

I've optimized a page on my site, in order to better rank. One of these things I did was create a better url. I would like this url to display in Google, as well, as I can imagine it could also improve clicks, being that it describes better what's on the page.

However, while the meta title and description have been updated in the SERPS, the old url still shows....

Any way to request an update for this from Google?

Thanks

Did you redirect and promote through your new link? Just resubmit and ping to get their attention.

On the Search Console home page, select the site you want to edit the links for.
Click 'Search Appearance' to expand this, and then click 'Sitelinks'.
In the 'For this search result' box, complete the URL for the page you don't wish to display a sitelink.
