Hi,

I noticed <meta name='robots' content='noindex, follow' /> is showing in my blog when I see source file of my blog.

I don't understand how can I remove this code.

Kindly suggest the way.

  • where is it happening when you link to some blog or when?
Also you can use some plugins to change that usually all the links are Dofollow only. You might be using some plugins which is forcing WP to do that.
  • Edit your Robots.txt file and change noindex to index, simple as that
  • Hey michaelkoehler92

I'd love to help out with your problem here. This is huge problem for your website and luckily it's a very simple fix that a lot of people don't check. I must emphasize the word "check" (you'll find out why).

Do you have access to the FTP for your website? I'd love to help walk you through this issue you're having.

Here's what you have to do:
    1. Log in to the backend of your WordPress website
    2. Go to Dashboard --> Settings --> Reading
    3. Find the checkbox that says "Search Engine Visibility"
    4. Uncheck the box that says "discourage search engines from indexing this site"

    See Image Below:

I'm assuming this is the problem. However, if this is not the problem, I would happy to explain how to fix it another way.
