A bounce is a one page session - a user lands on your site and bounces from the one and only page they saw.

Exit rate is the percentage that exit from a page, regardless of whether it was a one page visit or if they clicked on many other pages before exiting from that page.

  • Bounce Rate:- Bounce rate is the number of visitors which a site receives only for them to leave the site after viewing only one page. It represents the percentage of visitors who enter the site and then leave or "bounce" rather than continuing on to view the other pages within the same site.

Exit Rate:- Exit rate is the percentage of visitors who leave your website from a specific page. This has to be beyond the landing or home page, and every page on your website has its own exit rate.
