Your SEO is doomed!!!

Yea, you know what I am talking about.

The moment you paid some SEO person $100 to start promoting your site is the moment you started digging your own grave with your own shovel, and why did you do this? because you are too cheap to buy a quality link that has authority for $100, and you wanted that $100 to go as far as it could go, but it doesn't, and this is where your downfall starts....

Legit SEO is not one size fits all, no sir, sorry. SEO should be custom fit to each size, and that is because SEO is not a one size fits all, and if you use these type of SEO providers, then sooner or later, and probably later, you will just end up cleaning up the mess of spammy backlinks.
  • Your SEO should be customized for your site.
  • Your need to audit your link profile once/twice per month.
  • Your site will also attract natural link spam.
  • Your competitors are link spamming you...

You are wondering why your traffic has taken a noise drive, and this could be for several reasons, and one of those reasons is link spam, it does not matter if you did it or not, and Google does not care about who did it, and it is your responsibility to keep your link profile clean.

Let me guess, you just paid an SEO provider $100 to building links around your money keywords; Using an excessive amount of money keywords is very bad!! Google will dump all over you, and not even bother to wipe!!! I have seen sites rank very high, and using very few money keywords, why? Because Google is looking for:
  • Diversity
  • Quality
  • Natural

Without these 3 qualities, you are doomed! When it comes to link building, Google loves diversity as there is nothing natural about using money keywords over, over, and over, as a result, this leads to low quality, and just because you have no warnings in webmaster tools does not mean anything, and your analytics tell you everything you need to know.

Now that we have established that you are cheap with backlinks, now we turn to your low-quality content of 300-500 words that nobody wants, not even Google, and this could be bad design, low-quality content that is just hashed out everywhere else on the internet.

Setting up a website is like setting up a business. If you use cheap services to start your business, then it will never get off the ground, and I mean ever as in never.

Take it from someone who earns a six-figure income. I have to clean up 100s of spam links every month, from countries all over the world, including India. Some people think your site may be cool, or they could be giving bad links on purpose. Just because you get a backlink does not mean it will be helpful, in fact, those bad links will certainly hurt rankings for sure.

Some people say that SEO is dying, and that is not the case, those SEO providers that can not pull their weight in gold are the ones that are dying, and I do not use them anymore. I think people are starting to wake up and realize that cheap SEO providers no longer work, and they have not worked for some time, however, people continue to use them.

and this reminds me of another post. You have something they can provide, but they provide you with nothing, not only did they harm your site, now they have your money, and they still claim to be the #1 SEO provider because they have been around for a few years. One thing is for sure, just because they have 100s or 1000s of reviews because their bad practices worked 5 or 10 years ago does not mean it works today.

Google is looking greatness, and it may not be you!!!

Is it starting to click yet?

How much did you pay for your last backlink?
I paid $150 for mine for real authority, not some PBN
site you find on fiverr bloated with a high spam score....

SEO is far from dead....
You just have to use SEO correctly...
and you will bloom into a wonderful flower.....

unless you like being a black rose, full of stink and death...

There's no correct way to do SEO actually so all you have to do is keep on testing and working over it.
Going aggressively with link building can make or break your complete project.

But yeah if you pay for peanuts you cannot expect gold.

But there is a difference of being correct compared to zero quality backlinks, and there is a difference again, once you do land those golden nugget backlinks, then how is your traffic going to perceive your site? and this is where quality of your site comes into play, along with quality of content, on page SEO, and on-page SEO can be just as powerful as getting those golden links, and if your site is not easily accessible, then they bounce.

To be or not to be is the question.

Like many I also disagree with this. "There's no correct way to do SEO". Its not right by a long shot.

The real SEO Tragedy is those very low-quality Shopify eCommerce sites I run across all the time. Listen, guys, If your site looks like it was developed by a second-hand thrift store which screams Zero Trust, then no amount of SEO is going to save you.

      Great content
      Great SEO
      zero trust = zero dollars

There are all sorts of issues that could keep your site kissing the google rim of death, including technical SEO issues which most have no clue what that is.

Google hell is where Google sends sites that can't figure this stuff out, and I get it! If you want your site to survive, then you have to abide by Google guidelines, even bad coding can cause your site to slide into the pit of google fire and brimstone.

Even if you did everything right, then Google updates can cause ranking and traffic loss also, so you are constantly attacked by all sides, all the time. ie: sites that deserved a boost ended up with a loss and sites that deserved google hell got a boost in SERPs, thanks google, you suck!

The 150 dollar link sounds about right. I dig it.

Authority sites command authority prices. Or at the very least, more than a pittance.

My favorite part was the use of the phrase, "Legit SEO is not one size fits all" and yet he concludes with how much you should PAY for a link.

SEO from 10 different spammy sites.

Legit SEO, links from top authority sites.

You are free to define SEO as you see fit.

I don't care if you buy SEO or not. If you want to set up a site and go natural all the way, after 5 years, I am going to be at the top, while you are still dreaming about it.

If you are not proactive, then you are simply inactive.

      stop being so emotional...

Contradictorily, again, as hinted towards previously, it's only you who appears emotional and this is true throughout your threads.

When someone chooses this demeanour, together with proposal that they are above the next and know best, it will usually be met with criticism.

Probably worth considering before you meet any more replies or establish your next thread.

I find it ironic that the people who claim to be so successful, never use their real names. My name is out there for all to see. I stopped "dreaming" more than a decade ago. I've set up more than 150 successful eCommerce sites, made a good deal of money and been interviewed by many top news outlets. I can assure you that I have never paid for a link.

I approve link-building, buying links, etc. It's just a part of the game. There are no ethics behind it.

Googles' search algorithm needs backlinks, so why not to improve your chances on ranking higher in SERP's by building high-quality backlinks?
