Hi,
I am creating a webpage of recipes which target a certain food. Can I re-use and copy recipes already existing on the web.....I mean how could you possibly rewrite such specific ingredients, steps, etc? Is this legal? If not, what would you suggest? Thanks in advance.

A quick google search found two good explanations about copyright as it pertains to recipes....the answer seems to be "it depends".

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

I think 95% are not... Copyrighted recipes are secrets and owners will not reveal these recipes..
