Yes, it's one of the trick to rank. Also it depends to the area or region where you are in. Not sure if it's still good for T1 countries.

Keyword stuffing had been used in past days to get high ranking and visibality of the sites on search engine for particular phases. this technique is outdated today and google no longer gives good ranking to the pages which employed this method.Keyword stuffing is overloading the meta tages and content of the web pages with every possible phrase or keyword that is related to the sites in a different form

Keyword stuffing is not permitted anywhere. Google's Penguin Algorithm clearly states that. The title and description is what makes people click on your link. If this stuffed with keywords, your audience will skip your website and select the one which is most suitable to their query.

Nowadays keyword stuffing in meta tags, img ALT tags and content will not helpful to get top ranking in search results. It should affect your website's authority by the Google algorithms. Google algorithms are evolving every year. These tactics will not work for long. term. So be focus on lengthy and quality content with proper meta tags and ON Page, OFF Page optimization.

Meta Keywords are an example of a meta tag that doesn't make much sense to use these days. Years ago, the meta keyword tags may have been beneficial, but not anymore. These days Google doesn't use meta keywords in its ranking algorithm at all, because they're too easy to abuse.

The alt text describes what's on the image and the function of the image on the page. Each image should have an alt text, not just for SEO purposes but also because blind and visually impaired people won't otherwise know what the image is about, but a title attribute is not required.

There's nothing keyword-stuffing at all about using a keyword in an h1. Even though this keyword is not technically long tail, it works well for our purposes, because it's clear, concise, noticeable, and easy to use in an h1.

Meta tags are one of the most important practices in the SEO, these are the words hidden in the code. Keywords in Meta tags, heading tags are beneficial from the SEO perspective it helps Google to know what your website is about. So, if you insert the right keywords in the meta tags and heading tags will also help you to find the potential customers, boost your rankings on search engines. Alt tags are used to define the meaning of the image so we need to put alt tags to explain the google bot what the image is all about.

You have a source for that bullshit about Google's Penguin algorithm?

What you said about Penguin is a lie.

      Why is that a lie?

      Triggers for Penguin
      Penguin targeted two specific practices:

Link schemes - The development, acquisition or purchase of backlinks from low-quality or unrelated websites, creating an artificial picture of popularity and relevance in an attempt to manipulate Google into bestowing high rankings. For example, an insurance company in Tampa could fill Internet forums with spam comments linking to itself as "best insurance company in Tampa", falsely inflating its appearance of relevance with these unnatural links. Or, the same company might pay to have links reading "best insurance company in Tampa" appear on an unrelated third-party article about dog grooming; content that has no relationship to the topic.

Keyword stuffing - Populating a webpage with large numbers of keywords or repetitions of keywords in an attempt to manipulate rank via the appearance of relevance to specific search phrases.

      Conclusion: Don't do keyword stuffing.

Keywords stuffing as earlier used to easily rank a website in google search engine but now according to google guidelines keywords stuffing is now considered as spamdexing as it is the black hat seo technique. Google never prefer keyword stuffing technique as it overloads the website content and meta tags

You had better to make your content more informative and use synonyms as much as you can.. Stuffing keywords in meta was an old technique... Now google give priority to content that should be unique, informative and problem solving with easy to read and understand details. Obviously, meta is still important but it can not help you for ranking until you don't have quality content.

It will work short term, but once google sees that it's obvious keyword stuffing, the site will be penalized and will lose rankings fast and will be hard to come back.

I see some people use things like the google citations from Fiverr, which makes about 200 local business citations. It works to boost the rankings, but after a while, they'll be sent to the very last positions. I've seen it many times.

    Don't keyword stuff
