Schema Markups on Technology News Site to better optimize?

Hello,
I represent a technology news site; we are doing good in terms of getting traffic from search engines. But we suffered a lot recently because of Google Discover. We used to get featured in Google Chrome "Articles for You" and Google Feed daily, around 1-4 news articles daily. Since Google Discover, I see my competitors daily in the Discover Feed, but we stopped getting featured. I don't know why.

I check the Schema of my news articles. We have 2 types of Data on every page, one being "NewsArticle", the second is "Article". Do you think these two are conflicting? Ultimately causing Google not to display and feature us in Google Discover?

Any help would highly be appreciated.

    Google Discover upgraded its algorithm and added Artificial Intelligence to it.
    Articles with catchy titles and lesser bounce rate will be shown more in Google Discover. Try to improve these two factors and have patience because this technology is still learning user behavior.
