Please suggest me the best way to check out the backlinks on my website. I am getting different result from two different tools Google Search Console or Ahref. which tool should I trust

    Both tools are good but Google webmaster shows real data whereas Ahref takes time to show real data. You should check whether your backlinks are indexed or not. For That, You can use a string - site:yourbacklink.com,

    If you are analyzing competitors backlink then Ahref is best tool

    Ahrefs is better for this purpose. But keep in mind that Ahrefs could show old data and it takes some time to reflect new backlinks.

    Google search console will give you the accurate results of backlink counts with detail information of anchor text. MOZ premium tool is also the good tool to segment your website backlinks as inbound dofollow and nofollow, external dofollow and nofollow links.

    look at it this way. Do you want to understand what links are helping you to get ranked or do you just want to know what links there are to your site?

    If you want to know what links Google values then use Google Search Console.

    If you want to know who is linking to your website then ahrefs provides a great solution.
