Hi all,

Found some websites stolen our content and using the same sentences in their website pages. Does this content hurt our website rankings? Their DA is low, still we are worried about the damage about this plagiarism.

Thanks

What do you mean by using the same sentences? Where they have used it? Did they copy entire page?

I wouldn't bother thinking about DA. They are a third party metrics so they don't have any effect.

No, duplicate content will not hurt your website unless it is physically present on your website. You may want to consider submitting a DCMA Takedown Notice:

Actually, there is no such thing as a duplicate content penalty and having it WILL NOT "hurt your website". Of course, that has nothing to do with the actual question.

Sure, a site with higher authority could definitely outrank yours for duplicate content. Chances are, though, that sites with that kind of authority aren't copying your content.

If the website is having a higher ranking than you, this direct copying may affect your business or else i don't think much will happen.

In My opinion, Duplicate content won't hurt you. Actually what happen is that when you have updated the original content at your website, Google indexed the content and Google Knows that which content has been updated first. Google has very advanced algorithms which indexed the newly content on frequent basis.

      None of that is true.
