The only way I can see meta from pages is by using the Dev Tools console in Chrome. Conequently, crawling through all the code on the pages is a nightmare. The code in Developer Tools doesn't appear to be searchable and finding out, say, if a Google Tag is present on the page seems like looking for a needle in a haystack. I'm supposed to do this for multiple tags for hundred of pages!
Because of these issues, I used Moz to crawl pages to see what it says. This brought up bigger concerns...
I've been told that the new UAT(staging) site isn't crawlable but Moz says it is. I can't find a robots.txt file or tag. How can I tell if a site really is crawlable in Google's eyes without access to the backend or Search Console?
Moz says that there's no content on the blog pages even though there obviously is and I can see it in Chrome Dev Tools (with enough hunting). If Chrome can see it, surely Google can? Why can't Moz see it?
Does anyone have any ideas?
