Hello,

I'm too much confused with the anchor text spam and how well the page will be penalized due to linking.

My inner pages were working so well but the ranking dropper 4-5 positions down since few months.

I want to know what is the best way to add anchors for internal links and external backlinks.

For example - best phones under 1000

This is the keyword, what should be the anchor for this keyword ? Should it be exact anchor text or synonyms?

Please give me some anchor text ideas so that the page ranking increases.

Note: I haven't posted new post on my blog since a month, will it cause drop in ranking?

The current best practice is to have 15-30% of your overall link profile coming from exact or near match anchor text links. I don't recommend creating too many keyword focused anchor text links, as over-optimization of anchor text can result in ranking penalties.

That is nonsense. 15-30%? That would be stupid to go that low.

OP, anchors should be descriptive of the pages you are linking to. Period.

    90% brand anchors (site, site.com, www.site, TitleWhichAppearsOnYourTabWhenYouOpenYourWebsite )

5% generic anchors (click, here, source, read me, web etc)
5% exact anchors and LSI anchors.....

I would agree to the two gentlemen above about keeping everything relevant to your Anchor text. Relevancy is the key in link building. Exact match anchors should work but bear in mind that they can also be the cause to get a penalty. They are tricky that way.

according to me, you can do manual internal linking of the your focused keyword on your article or pages because this works most of time for my main blogs or Website.

Don't always use the same anchor text. Mix things up and keep it diverse.
Don't link from irrelevant pages only to boost authority. You're better off not linking internally at all.
    Don't overdo it.

When you say "ranking dropper 4-5 positions down" was that after doing internal linking?
