Hi,

Let's say we are going to create pages in the URL path www.website.com/directory/sub-pages/. In case this page www.website.com/directory/ doesn't exists or redirected; will the pages created in this URL path like stated above have any issues in-terms of SEO?

Thanks

If it isn't listed then how is it possible for google or any other search engine to verify and send social signals to the site ?

I think it would be good to get the site redirected .

It shouldn't technically. Are the sub-pages related to the main website or a totally different topic altogether?

If you mean will the main page pass authority to the sub-pages, as long as it's linked from the main page then you should be fine. Think user navigation before anything else and justify why you need the sub-pages under a directory in the first place.
