How many guest posts via cold emails? Conversion rate?

I am learning about methods to acquire guest post prospects. I am trying to get an idea of how many links people tend to build in a given month.

Assuming I can convince the blog owner that I can provide quality and relevant content for them to link to, how many links can I realistically build?

Let's assume that I send 300 emails in a month, my pitch is well-written, and the quality of my content is of a high quality.

Of those 300, how many am I likely to have take me up on my offer for a guest post?

You can get a quiet good conversion with cold emails for a guest post but most of them ask for money. It tough to convince them but many do settle for a lower price. You just need to bargain a bit. Many also settle for a free post if you promise paid post for next time. It depends on the way you pitch your deal

Your success rate would depend on how big your niche is and whether you're hitting up direct competitors.

There are easier ways to get links, you know.

      Do tell.

I've been subscribed to HARO for a while, but none of the requests are really relevant to my niche at all.

The only thing I can come up with other than guest posting is skyscraper.
