How to rank for neighboring (similar) keywords?

What are the ways, secret or signaling technique to tell Google search that some really high value, genuinely unique, useful content we have falls into 60+ other keywords?

Let me explain this with the sample.

We have a car community in UAE that is totally unique and helpful to people.

Just a while back someone came with "Nissan Altima CVT gear issue" everyone helped her in the right direction and she manages to save 2/3 of the proposed cost from the dealership in 3 pages (20 replies) content size.

Now when we search with the exact title, the result appears as a 2 of 8M results.
Title: Nissan Altima 2013 engine stop issue

Now, this thread has a lot of keywords, that can really help thousands of other people searching for a similar solution but this thread doesn't appear anywhere in those remaining searches. And also surprisingly when searched on google.ae no other UAE based results pop, all from US.

When we have this locally relevant and useful content, why google bots are not showing this....?

On the contrary, as per our recent audit, we have found 60+ long-tail keywords of transmission, CVT, problems etc. that can really help those people with a laser targeted content in UAE.

Now, this is just one of 100's of similar useful content we have that only appear in the exact title search and not on phrase / broad search.

Any help in this regard is highly appreciable. Thanks in advance.

can you tell if Google bot is visiting your pages?

I know at one time working with clients having similar issues, the problem was Google bot was not visiting those pages and when we pinged them traffic and rankings started showing up.

If Google does not crawl those pages you don't get considered for visibility.

I am not sure what do you mean by saying "visiting your pages"....?

If those prime and valuable pages arent indexed then how google showing them with exact title search at number 2 position out of 8 million results.......!

I'm talking about those pages you mentioned not being shown in search.

You should be able to see in your server logs is Google bots and other bots are visiting your web pages in your server logs.

Awstats is one of the reporting tools most server have to see this.

Yes, Google must crawl those pages for them to be ranked. One contributor has suggested that you binge them. I think this is the way to go. Give it a shot and share the results with us.

OP, am I correct in assuming you're talking about your FORUM community?

If so, keep in mind that search engines aren't giving forums top ranks for competitive or even semi-competitive keywords

If there is a blog post out there of decent length in a domain that has decent authority, forums and quora posts and reddit posts get beat. Most. Of. The. Time.

First focus on your long tail keywords to establish for your competitive major target keyword. Guest posting would be the best way to give quality signal to Google but it must be related to avoid suspicious activity of manipulation.

  • Focus working on LSI keyword and use long tail keyword.

  • Try long-tail keywords to get traffic on neighboring (similar) keywords
