Being BANNED from Adsense...What We Can Do ??

I wanted to address this issue since Adsense Banning has been a big issue here lately. Personally, I am starting to get a nice, consistent income from Adsense every month after doing it for nearly 2 years.

My problem is that there are soooooo many of you out there that got your Account banned without any intent of violating their TOS whatsoever. And many NEVER got an explanation from Google why you were banned and you worked so hard to go by the book but to no avail !!

Consequently, it makes many of us nervous, even the ones like myself, who take extra measures to do everything by the book to appease the Google police.

One thing that I do to all my Blogs is to include at least one Affiliate Banner on my Site along with Adsense ads. I dont know, but to me this would seem to diffuse any suspicion that it is a MFA Site if there was a manuel look at your Site from the Google police.
I put my affiliate ad at the top of the page in a very prominent spot and it is a weight loss affiliate product. And I make sure it has a very enticing heading.

What do you all think about this measure to help keep on the right side of Google ??

And what other measures do you all take to insure that Google wont turn the switch off on you for no good reason ??

  • it seems to happen to a lot of websites.Digital Point was once banned from the adsense program but they seem to be back.
I guess it means sticking to the rules, and if you do get banned, send them an email to find out what has caused it.
If that fails, then join other networds like yahoo publisher

I hope you get banned, seriously.

Hearing that you put an affiliate banner for a weight loss product on your site tells me that your site is somewhat related to weight loss.

...assuming that then you could be making a ton more money via something like fatloss4idiots or CPA offers.

Of course this is just my opinion - but test out putting up a CPA offer on your site. Or even write a blog post on it. (If your site is a blog of course...)

The results may make you re-consider your love for Adsense.

      Zach,
You seriously hope I get Banned ?? Wow thanks for the words of encouragement, SERIOUSLY !! Zach, you are what a true Warrior is all about !! Lets give this boy a standing ovation !!
But for your information its NOT just one site I have but actually 14 different Sites.

And DONT be assuming things based on just because you think it MAY be true. The fact is I market CPA Products and Affililiate Products and it is more than 70% of my IM model .
My Weight Loss Blog focuses strictly around weight loss products and I concentrate building a List and building a List only here. Yes, Fatloss4idiots is the main product I promote thru my Follow up Autoresponder. Also the same with my Acne Blog , Dating Blog, and Learn Spanish Blog. I use NO Adsense on these Sites as well as 4 others on top of this out of my 14 sites.

But I have a few Adsense Sites that are meant to diversify my Blog Portfolio. I have backup Affiliate Banners that are ready to go in a heartbeat if by some chance Adsense is pulled away from me.

Oh yeah Zach , more inaccurate Assumptions on your part. These Adsense Sites are not related to weight loss like you stated above but have you ever heard of 'cross selling' Affiliate products. Zach, that means taking an Affiliate Product like Fatloss4idiots and selling it on a Dating Blog or a Pregnancy Blog. In essence, you are targetting a seemingly unrelated Demographic but in a roundabout and indirect way these people may find a need your Product.

Anyway, I suggest next time instead of wishing harm towards someone else and making such ill will statements like you did above , you to sit back and gather all the facts before you assume things !! Kind of makes you look like an arrogant 'you know what' to say the least. And definitely 'Un -Warrior' Like !
      SERIOUSLY !!

        Hmm...

Clearly you took the post in a different way than I intended. Maybe I shoud've put a "" after the first sentence to indicate that I wasn't wishing terrible thing on you - but just kidding with you and, as you'd see through the rest of my original post, encouraging you to try different ways to monetize your sites.

And DONT assume stuff just because of your arrogance and ignorance. I do Cpa Products and Affililiate Products as well as Adsense.

Well if your account gets banned it sounds like that is what you should do...
Oh yeah Zach , more inaccurate Assumptions on your part. These Adsense Sites are not related to weight loss like you stated above but have you ever heard of 'cross selling' Affiliate products. Zach, that means taking an Affiliate Product like Fatloss4idiots and selling it on a Dating Blog or a wheelchair blog. You are targetting a particular Demographic who in a roundabout and indirect way may need your Product.
Are you building a list on these blogs? If so that's the only way cross selling will truly work best.

Assuming you aren't then there are CPA offers for both the hover round, for your wheel chair site, and tons of great Dating CPA offers and e-books on Clickbank.

You'll always want to give people exactly what they are looking for - chances are not everyone who goes to a wheel chair site will want to learn how to lose weight. But they all would be interested in a hover round i'd assume.

Anyway, I suggest next time instead of wishing harm towards someone else and making such ill will statements like you did above , you to sit back and gather all the facts before you talk !! Kind of makes you look like a big Jerk to say the least. And definitely 'Un -Warrior' Like !
        SERIOUSLY !!
Like I said above clearly you took the statement wrong.

But from your reply it seems like you already know what you'd do if your Adsense account got banned.

I hear far too many people on here saying, "I'm making $10 a day with Adsense and i've been working at it for years..."

Then when they turn to promoting CPA offers properly, or Clickbank products, that turns into $100 a day.

By my post I took the limited amount of info you gave everyone and then gave my opion. Which is to get away from Adsense if there are high converting e-books or CPA offers you can promote instead. (Not wishing Adsense would move away from you, but that you'd move away from adsense...)

Adsense, as i'm sure you know, is a bunch of advertisers who are paying money for your clicks and Google is paying you substantially less than what they are paying Google.

Logic should tell you that if enough people are making money from buying clicks off your website then you could, hypothetically, cut them out and promote products like they are directly to your visitors and make the same amount as those advertising, through Adsense, on your site.

This would be, usually, in the form of Clickbank products, CPA offers, etc etc

Again i'm sorry if what I said above offended you - I read it over many times and don't see how I was being a "jerk" or "un-warrior" like. When someone "insults" you though, as you thought I did unfortunately, it isn't much better to turn around and flame them.

Especially when you gave everyone very little information to work with. (How was I supposed to know you had a wheel chair site?)

Sorry, I probably read into it wrong. But sometimes when people use the exclamation 'seriously' well then most usually take it to heart.

          Just food for thought.
But I was probably a little too harsh in my post. I need to back off a little bit and not be so oversensitive !!

Does having affiliate links on your website along with adsense ads go against their TOS?

Mate Adsense is a ******. I was done with adsense a few years ago. I had a whooping $83 in my account and all of a sudden I was banned, no reason given.

I thought my make money online adventures was over but I came across warriorforum and other make money online stuff. The more you learn about IM in general, the more you realize how making money online is a BIG field.

    No worries...

I usually mean seriously in a joking matter. In fact I almost never mean it in a serious one.

It's hard to tell what people really mean on the interbebz, eh? hehe
