Hello,

I am looking for help with the search result for a different keyword.

I just updated my websites meta description last seven days ago. Now when I am searching with my main keyword, the search result shows the updated meta description and at the same time searching with a another keyword, the result shows the old meta description.

Here is the fact - for both keywords, the Indexing or Cache Date is the same, and this makes me so confusing. Why did this happens?

Is this impact for my search ranking, why this issue comes out, and what should I do to solve this issue?

Looking for your better suggestions.

Google will use whatever meta description they want to. Doesn't matter what you select. If they feel another description is more relevant to the search query, they will use another one.

According to the search keyword or search query some times description changes for the same page of website. According to relevancy google pick the description line from the content of the page.

So, Google is telling you it thinks for the other keyword, your current meta description doesn't cut it.

Like Mike says, Google decides what your page is about, then what meta best fits. Why are you fighting it? Is the meta Google displays not accurate (based on the keyword)? Then change the page content to match what people using the keyword are looking for.

Google never says that it will show the description of your website on SERP from your website's meta description only. Google decides what to show based on the query the website visitor searched. It can be from your title, heading, meta description, content, etc. So, don't worry if Google don't show your exact meta description in the SERP.
