How to use hreflang in a best way for the International SEO ?

Hi,

I am working for a client that has an international market. My client has a website for different countries.
eg- www.example.com
www.example.com/za
www.example.com/au
www.example.com/ar
www.example.com/ae

I am facing an issue now whenever I search the business keywords. In Au region ( Australia) the za region( South Africa) website pops up first.

1- People in the Au region is visiting the South Africa website. How can I tackle it and How can I use the hreflang in the best way?

2-The client have a website targeting Arabia Region(www.example.com/arabia/en( English Version)

The website now ranking only in two countries ( Middle East ) even though we search the brand name from a different region it shows the .com (global version)

How can I rank my Arabia website in all other middle east regions?

    I think you need to search the business directories for specific region and need to submit and register websites in specif registries.
    On the other hand if you have physical address then register the website at physical address of specific region.

    I think the right way to handle your situation is to get your visitor redirected to location-based page. This can be done via manual selection by visitor or by detecting the location and auto-redirect.


    Use the language attribute to tell Google about the language of the country page.

    If your content is specific to country, consider using local domains.
