Hello people,

I have got a portfolio of domains with their DR ranging from 4 to 40.
I have recently registered them as a result of expiry at GoDaddy.

My questions:

1) How should I use these domains basically?
2) Should I invest further in getting their DR improved or simply build fresh sites on them with useful content
3) If I have a budget of 100 dollars to spend on each domain, what should I do:
A. Spend all 100 and first get its DR improved through some gig providers at Fiverr?
B. Or spend 50 on a gig at Fiverr and get its DR improved a bit and on the side, get quality content and post it on these domain?
4) OR do u advise that I improve the DR of some domains and use them for redirection to some niche websites that I make on other set of domains within the same portfolio

DR is not a metric that Google or any other search engine use to rank sites.

I do agree! But DR is an indication of your website's back-link profile.

Did you just buy the domains based on the factor that they had some DR rating? If yes, then thats not really a good way of doing things. It would have been better to actually start with an idea of what you want to achieve with a site(s) and then go for the domain. With that said..

    1. Check whether these domains have any listings in Google. If they do, use waybackmachine to see what those pages were and recreate and improve the ones that have listings in Google.
    2. Just do point 1.
    3. Don't be obsessed with DR. Its just a metric from Ahrefs that measures the strength of the backlink profile. Use that money to invest in good articles to use for guest blogs or infographics.
    4. See point 1 and 3..

I bet that in no way except really increasing that damn domain metric entirely and absolutely, there is no other way for it, you can try to sell some links or exchange articles if all will be fine, as for me that is really all absolutely
