Hello, I was using auto blogger and caffeinated content on a web site, and it generated a lot of content that got indexed, but when i also added my own content to the web site, my content did not get indexed. I am trying to figure out what might have happened. I have been lurking the forums for a while now, and the only thing I can think of is that my posts got buried by auto-content, so when the spider searched my site, it didn't go deep enough to find my posts. Is this a possibility?

Are there any other likely things that it could be?

What should I do to get those pages indexed?

Thank you for bearing with a noob.

Is the actual site itself indexed? Googles new algorithm takes ages to index sites properly.

Make sure you make it so that Wordpress pings a lot of ping services (check pingler.com for a nice list) and do occasional social bookmarking on your own unique content posts. I recommend you getting the OnlyWire plugin and get accounts at all the sites they list. Not only does it help with getting spiders, you also get quite a few nice backlinks and a bit of traffic every so often. Be sure to only do this on actual unique content and not the spun garbarge CC gives you as abusing the service will ruin it for everyone.

This should drive the spiders to your site and get your pages indexed quickly.

It is hard to determine that...

You need to tell us how do you know your site / pages are indexed, and how you think your article is not index?

How long this happens? May be your article too new?

Well, my site and many of my pages show up in the SERPS, so I know they are indexed. However, none of the content I created shows up, so I know it isn't indexed. Also, it has been about three weeks, so I did wait a long time before I decided that they weren't indexed.

      Thanks,
      Michael

I will call that ranked on Google, not index...

Your site might be indexed, check your Google Webmaster Tools, it will show how many pages indexed.

Easiest way to find your article - search the article name with:

        articlename site:yourwebsite.com

If it shows, you are in the index!

For your page to rank well, you just need a lot of backlinks...

WHy not throw some SB links to your post if they are original. Do a digg, mixx, reddit. I think it will index fast then. Anyways that won't be a permanent solution. Crawling depends on authority of site. Higher authority = higher chance of getting indexed pages. And autoblogs don't really have that.
