1 domain with 800 backlinks to my page

Hi guys,

I dont understand this.

In google search console it shows 1 domain that has 829 linking pages (backlinks) to my page. In Ahrefs this domain is not listed in my backlinks.

Can someone explain this to me? Is that a bad seo attack or some bug/error? Should I disavow that domain?

    More than likely, it is a header, footer or sidebar navigation link from a website; therefore, it shows up on every page/article on the site. I most cases, this is not a net positive for SEO but at the same time, it probably won't hurt you unless it is a pattern that shows up for every site that you get backlinks from (in which case, a manual penalty might be assessed).

    Of course, rather than ask what it is here, I'm wondering why you didn't just go to the website and see where/why your link is showing up on so many pages?

      The website does not always tell you why and may result in more questions. For example, I am receiving over 4,000 backlinks from one domain according to search console. If I follow the links I am taken to a parked Go Daddy domain. I have no idea what that means, how it is possible, nor can I ask the website owner why it is happening.

      Some people ask questions here because those with personal experience can provide some insight. Whether or not that is always the case is up for debate.

    Try CitationLabs. These guys work well. Their guy in the Philippines gave me a lot of free stuff. Many backlinks. Good luck.

    First of all check domain and your link place that where is it?


    Second check other external link at that website because if other external links are of restricted niche like gambling, casino, adult, pharmacy etc then you should disavow these links otherwise google can hurt your ranking.


    A bit suspected because ahref is not counting this as backlinks ...... so must check once where your link placed and other external links from that website to get a safe place or stay at good position in SERPs.

    The backlinks shouldn't hurt you as long as you aren't doing anything spammy. This can happen quite naturally with a lot of websites.
