Can someone help me in deciding whether the niche is right one for me to work on or not?

I have run the main keywords of 2 different niche in ahrefs and the serp stats of the top 10 results are present in the image attached.

P:S : Image is not getting attached. Uploaded it to imgur. Please check the image for agrefs serp stats

For both the niche, I have exact match domain (.info)

ahrefs stats for both niches
Niche 1 : Keyword Difficulty - 16
Volume: 23K global volume
Lots of secondary keywords with 500 to 1000 search volumes
__________________________________________________ _____________
Niche 2 : Keyword Difficulty - 4
Volume: 5K global volume
Lots of secondary keywords with 500 to 1000 search volumes

Please advice whether to enter one or both the niches or to avoid both

  • Actually I am not getting your point. Can you please explain what problem you are facing exactly?
  • Hi,

When doing keyword research for a niche idea, found 2 keywords (2 separate niche) which I think has good affiliate earning potential.

I analysed the top 10 search result of both the keywords using ahrefs
    https://imgur.com/a/Q1ybgMA

I have exact match domain (.info) for both the niches

Need suggestion regarding if i can build a website around this niche and rank my website in the top 10 search results.
Or, should I avoid the niche as the top 10 serp result metrics are too strong

  • KGR success story
Before I dive into the specifics, let's review a case study to prove that Keyword Golden Ratio can work to bring in more traffic and boost revenue.

I primarily work on Amazon Affiliate sites so I can actually show earnings, not just traffic improvements.

In my initial full-scale test of the Keyword Golden Ratio, I published 200 posts focused on KGR keywords over five months and the results were amazing.

The website went from $100 to $14,853 in 12 months and the traffic increased by about 800%.

    Some details about the process:

I tested the KGR with 20 posts and saw positive results so I wanted to scale up to see if I could 10x the results.
With the goal of 200 posts, I ramped up the publishing schedule slowly to keep out of pocket costs low. So in the first month, only 7 posts went live, but in the fifth month, I published over 60 posts.
The growth was gradual at first, then the traffic popped shortly after publishing all 200 posts.
No link building was done during the 12 months, but the site did have some existing links beforehand via guest posting.

  • It depends on your resource. When researching a niche, I think it's a good idea to analyze your main competition and see if you can fairly compete with them, not just looking at the SERP of the niche keyword.
  • So you are doing affiliate marketing. I am not expert in this. But I surely trying to learn this.
  • May take a bit more research than that my man.
  • Pick a niche you are passionate about, after that find a premium service or product you can offer and sell. You will succeed if you are actually interested in the niche you will gain happiness from working hard to build it up.

    Hi,

Please consider two things. 1) user intent 2) content with proper services / solutions

if , you have good domain authority ( 30+) then you can try for high competitive keywords.

  • In my opinion it is best to stick with the big niches. Money, Diet and Relationships.
Out of the three...Relationship seems to convert best for me. Hope this helps!
  • The niche with the keyword difficulty of 4 sounds like a safer option for a beginner -level SEO, later on, with enough intel and experience, you can move on to the niche with the keyword difficulty of 16.
  • What does the information you posted have to do with whether you're going to go into a niche or the other one?

I know you're thinking you gave us info on how difficult it would be for you to rank for a main keyword in a niche.

That has a lot less to do with it than you think.

If you're going to look just at keyword difficulty, shouldn't you be looking at a bunch of them?

But should you not also consider if there are products you feel confident about promoting? And at other ways of driving traffic? And your ability / resources to produce whatever content you need?

  • There is nothing wrong with the niche. Any niche is worth . You only need to double your effort to get things up.
