Can I post FB posts to our website blog 1:1 | Duplicate issues?

We have several company FB pages where the team publishes posts about updates of our apps- new features, improvements, updates and stuff like that.

We are thinking to start publishing these social media posts on the corresponding blogs on the websites. We have website A and FB company page A. Then we have website B and FB company page B. So, what we want to do is to publish the already live and indexed FB post from FB company page A to the blog of website A.

However, I'm not 100% sure if any duplicate content issues could occur and prevent us from ranking in Google. The posts are already indexed in Google. Or should we change the approach- first to publish those updates on the blog and only then on FB?

The Fb posts are about 1k words and they have some screenshots in them.

Does someone have any experience with a similar situation?


To sum up: is it ok to publish 1:1 versions of the Fb posts on our blogs?

    There is nothing wrong with publishing informational content which belong
    to someone else as long you're providing attributions to original source or
    acknowledgment which pointing to author.

    Both of the websites belong to you, so there would be no issue. You need to refer the readers to the original post or originating page/site to divide traffic properly.

    I would put that juicey content on my OWN website then post a clickbait "snippet" on FB to try drive traffic to my website(that post) vs allowing FB to reap the benifits of the unique content.
