Is This Normal?? Google Isn't Indexing My Posts!

Hello Warriors

I made 6 new posts 2 days ago, started to backlinking to them, submitted to digg..etc

Waited for them to appear in the SERP through the site:domain.com/post-title test, yet, nothing is showing.

What made me concerned is that, the posts submission in digg are showing in SERP, i.e., have already been indexed on Digg, but not indexed on my blog!

What I believe is that once the post is indexed on Digg, it is instantly indexed on the blog
The blog itself has been indexed before by Google , and site:mydomain.com retrieving old posts from the blog

I wonder if there is a problem with the blog/new posts that prevents Google from indexing them

Again, posts have been posted 2 days ago, submitted to Digg and already indexed on Digg

Thanks

    Hi goldmind123,

If it's a Wordpress blog, check the privacy settings. I have heard some folks saying that privacy settings changed during updates.

Many folks have been reporting much slower indexing by Google lately. What was taking less than 48 hours can take up to three weeks.

Browse down to the last block of the admin navigation sidebar (on the lef of the dashboard), under"setting" look for "Privacy", check "I want my blog to be seen by SE"

      Gosh, thanks for this tip!
Traffic to one of my blogs had been getting real slow and I was wondering why. Apparently, the privacy setting was reset with the last update!

      No wonder traffic slowed...

hmmm... guess you have to be patient? Never knew about this matter though. I normally simply post an entry and social bookmark it and then leave. lol.

Your pages should be indexed within the week. don't worry about it. (:

Can anyone confirm that the late indexing problem is only limited to wordpress?

Well, I got this weird comment on the sitemap inside Webmasters Tools:

Total URLs in the Sitemap:19 Indexed 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why the f*** it's not indexed the links in the sitemap if it can recognize it??

I'm really turning mad about this

Blogs that use WordPress with the SEO and XML Sitemaps plugins should have new posts listed in Google within a couple of hours of the post being published. If not, either there is a problem with the WordPress setup or Google does not like the blog content for some reason.

Register for Google Webmaster Tools, if you have not done so already, and take a look at what that tells you about your site.

Any Experience with Permalink migration plugin?

Is there a chance that it's responsible for the situation?

I installed it and adjust the permalink structure and it should redirect the old permalinks to new structure.
