Dear Experts.
I have started to analyze all keywords with a strategy:
a) Self-generate keywords which closest to each category.
b) Use tools to analyze the keywords thought in step "a".
c) Collect keywords that are better than "Self-generate keywords".
d) Try searching with the better keywords found in step "c" to find the main competing websites.
e) Use tools to analyze competitors and find keywords that match the topic of your website.
f) Done.
What do you think about my above strategy? Is it right?

Do you have any visitors? If yes, how do they find you? Go to Google Webmaster Tools and see. Any of these keywords good?

Put them in Google keyword tool and see what other keywords you get.

Put each page on your site that you want people to find in Google keyword tool and see what keywords Google thinks your pages are about. When it gives you the keywords, it orders them by relevance. So, the first keyword on the list is the one it thinks it best fits your page content; the second one the second best, and so on.

Any good keywords you did not think of there?

Do the keywords match? (I once analyze the site of a auto shop store. The owner was gun-ho on warranties and guaranties. To the point that Google's first 700 keywords were about warranties and guaranties, not about his store changing tires, oil, transmission fluid, fixing breaks and engines.)

That the top competitor's main page and pages that have to do with what you promote, put them in Google keywords tool to see what keywords Google thinks those pages are about.

Pick any keywords that you did not think of but match well what you're selling.

Once you analyze with tools, analyze the finalists directly (Go to Google, find out the top page for the keyword, figure out what they've done and decide if you can do better at a price you like). Use your tools to find out how many backlinks they have and from where, use your eyes to see if they have the keywords in title, h1, etc.

        Where are you ranking?
How many searches for your keywords?

If you're relying on SEO only, you need to rank at the top of page 1 to get decent to good traffic.

#1 in organic serps gets about 30% of all searches (unless you mess up the title or the description or the url... You can get close to 0 in that case, even if you're #1 for your keywords.

        #2 gets about 12%.

#3 gets 8 and it goes down to 1.5 for #9 and 2.25% for #10 (if it's the last on the page).

(Numbers from memory from readying studies on the subject some time ago.)

Go to backlinko.com for keyword selection: https://backlinko.com/keyword-research.

While you're there, look up his articles on the skyscrpaer technique.

Look up silo structures for SEO too.

for keyword research, I completely rely upon google keyword planner. since this tool can provide a holistic set of keywords for your website. Then I use these keywords to align titles for my webpages. I also analyze competitors strategies through online research and with a little bit of help of tools as well. then I use high definition keywords as primary keywords and low definition as secondary in my web content.

What would be the point of that exercise?
Are you going to avoid using them to stop competition?

Can you explain what would be the purpose of "e'?

no , It's not the right strategy .
Marketing is inherently analytic. Field-testing marketing outreach and marketing performance is key to optimizing budget allocation and market reach. Search marketing is no different, and since keywords dictate your entire search campaign, keyword analysis should be your primary focus. Analyzing keywords allows you to:

Optimize Spend: Distribute more budget to successful keywords and eliminate wasteful spending on those that aren't producing results
Increase Conversions: Identifying and focusing on well-converting keywords is good for conversion rate optimization and return on investment (ROI)
Eye Trends: Knowledge of keyword search frequency provides insight into market behavior which you can apply to multiple aspects of your business
Prioritize Your Time: Keyword performance guides campaign importance--spend your time optimizing areas that have the biggest impact on your bottom line
Find New Markets: Use keyword analysis to expand your long tail efforts and discover more specific keyword queries and corresponding warm leads

Your keyword research strategy looks pretty good. Now what you must really focus on is creating the content around all those keywords that you got from your research.

This is the most difficult and important plan of action. Your content should be better in terms of relevancy to the user's query. Then you would need to boost your site with some quality backlinks from some relevant websites.

You need to find in-demand "hidden" words in your niche/topic

for example, if you want to create content for "ps4 wireless headset".

    1. find all the keywords you can that contain "ps4" + "wireless" + "headset" / "headphones" etc. you better get over 1,000.

    2. scan this list of keywords for repeated words that appear in keywords with some search volume (10% or more from the seed keyword).

    3. in this example you'll find the words "mic", "pc", "xbox", etc. repeat themselves in many of the searches and have substantial search volume. - these are the in-demand "hidden" words.

    4. make the content about "ps4 wireless headset" refer to these words. for example, you can add a reference whether the headset compatible with "pc" and "box".

    5. track the seed keywords every few weeks, look for new "hidden" words people start to search for, and update your content accordingly. for example, if you were writing about "make money", in Feb 2020 a new word appeared in relation for this keyword - covid...

    Good luck!
