massive linkwheel

I am considering making some sort of linking scheme using web 2.0 properties. What would be the best way to go about it. I am going to spin all the articles to 60-70% uniqueness.

Would it be better to make a massive linkwheel for example

squidoo --> wordpress --> vox --> blogsome --> quizilla --> freewebs --> weebly --> blogger --> squidoo2 --> blogsome2 --> vox2 --> etc

which would basically reuse the same web2.0 properties but with different articles and mix it up.

Or should I make 3 or 4 small linkwheels.

Its hard to tell which one would work for the long run.

  • There is no rules in the linkwheel bro , Its depends on the keywords and competition so just do trail and error that only can teach you.I prefer to use 6 web 2.0 properties but still it depends on the keywords and competition .
  • Just remember to never repeat the same linking structure twice for the same site. Randomization is your best friend for link wheels.
  • I found link wheels with 4/5 sites mixed always works well..

    I dont do a direct link on all of the wheels ie..

    site1 -> site 2 -> site 3
    site 4 -> site 2
    site 5 -> site 4 -> site 1

    No technically a full link wheel but it seems to work well..

    • I use 6 and combine links with RSS and it works perfect for me.
  • I personally find creating an individual property, linking it to your site and then linking to the property by other means works best. Why give Google footprints to follow, especially now we all know that they are "on" to link wheels.

    1. Create you property, link it to your site and also out to a couple of high reputation sites in your niche.

    2. Link to that property via profile links etc to build the power of the property, so its link value to you increases.

    By doing this you keep the danger with the expendable web 2.0 property rather than your own site.
  • Linkwheel is just one of the senario, you should always build more web 2.0 properties for backlinks and traffic, but not necessary linking them together!
