Not Ranking For Brand Search After Filtering

Hello SEO pros,

I am facing a strange problem.

Google not showing the website for the brand search when searching on filtering location. For eg: G Jordan & G UAE (and filtering with only sites from these countries).

I am able to see it in google.com google. ae or google.jo But when I filter the search I am not able to see my website for the brand search.

Please let me know your thoughts and solutions on how to fix this as it is very strange.

    Not even sure it needs to be "fixed". I imagine the percentage of internet users who would ever search like that (or even know how to) is infinitesimally small!

    It is not strange.


    In Google Webmaster tools, you choose the country where you want to compete. Choose UAE and your rankings there will improve (while your current rankings drop).


    Alternatively, you can add UAE SEO to the page you want to rank there. Or create a brand new page just for UAE. And, maybe, get a bunch of backlinks to that page.

      So for eg: If I am checking a website that is targeted to UAE with the brand search. And I filter the search country to Jordan. It should be shown right?

      I just search this way just to check. The results were actually strange for me. I am not even able to see the website domain for the brand search.

    Do you feel this is necessary to look under Location. It looks like this is working fine as if you can see under .com then this is good for you website
