Is It bad to have 2 backlinks from the same site?

Hi,

I have a question regarding my backlinks. About a year ago I acquired a couple of backlinks from different sites, but I've done the mistake to point them to some of my articles that "ARE NOT MONEY PAGES".

So I would like to rectify this by actually acquiring new guest posts backlinks from the same sites, only this time they will point to my new money pages.

So my question is, knowing that I already have prior backlinks, will it be better than I delete my old backlinks so I can add the new ones to get all the juice from those websites?

If I have 2 backlinks coming from the same domain, won't that divide the link juice?

Thank you

I have more than one link on different websites, so how can it be possible?

No, Link juice passed through both the backlinks in a same way. This way, you have 1 reffering domain and 2 backlinks, which is perfectly fine.

NO... N - O. 2 backlinks is good and 3 or more is even better.
Not only that wouldn't to weaken backlink, it would make it stronger.

You have to see backlink as a vote which is coming, let's say the
same family, same household from Pa, Ma and their 2 grown children.
If they all would vote for Mr. Brown, he wold have more changes to win
than his opponent with one vote from his wife.

Difference between Backlinks and Referring Domain.

Backlinks - the overall amount of backlinks to your website.
Referring domains - the number of unique domains linking to your website.
If you have two backlinks from the same site, it's not bad. At least we must have two do-follow backlinks from the same website. Two links from the same site mean you have two backlinks from one unique RD.

In google's eye, RDs must be robust, like they must have a strong profile so that it has quality backlinks. Which helps in ranking.

    Thanks

I don't recall OP mention anything of that nature. Am I wrong?

For clarity of your assumption, calculated how by whom?
Are you saying that every backlink is equal?

"unique domains"... what's that? Sorry, but I don't speak gibberish.

As I know every domain is unique and specially those that have different TLDs
google.com and google.net are unique domains but if I follow your definition
then google.com is more unique than .net domain. Sorry, but it can't be right.

Google is not some little Irish lad in green outfit who looks like Leprechaun
using abacus to calculate numbers of robust domains and then put them
in a good domains basket but would close his eyes on the bad one.

Are you familiar with this proverb?
"link is a link is a link" but according to you only quality backlinks are count.
Are you saying that G's little man wouldn't count links from Referring Domains
or what you are lovingly calling RD?

Brainstorming is good thing but it must to be related to OP, not to mention to make sense.

Personally I feel that it is okay to have many from the same domain as long as:

    They provide value
They are from different pages on the site

Exactly. Don't know why OP wouldn't want more links from a domain, as long as they are relevant and from high authority domains..

    Hi dear,
There is no problem if you're creating 2 backlinks on same site, but the problem is that after some time or a while, they start removing your backlinks, so its very necessary to create backlinks on a good and high DA websites.

I think the first backlink from the RD passes the most link juice. But this doesn't mean that you should stop trying to get other backlinks from high-quality websites. There is a little trick: you can monitor how to position on your target keyword (anchor keyword) changes when this backlink is added to Google Search Console

I think it is fine not a big issue sometime you got a backlink from a new article, and then you realize that same website getting huge traffic to other article, and you asked him to provide a backlink from that article which has Organic traffic. and High RD's so you got 2 backlinks from the same site but impact is change, So there is no issue, by the way the main concern is about link Juice you should get a backlink that target to your homepage, other backlink that target your main article,

It's good to get multiple links from the website. But it should be different pages so that you can get link juice to your other webpages too.
