How To Improve Organic Google Search Rank Results?

Hello SEO Warriors,

Hope everyone is doing well in these times.

Regarding how to improve Google search results. I am doing freelance work now, and I have a client interested in improving their search results in Google for very competitive keywords in SEO, and very expensive in PPC. I have optimized their site and GMB profile with the basics for on-site SEO, this have helped, but they want more of these search results.

What can be done (on-site & off-site) moving forward to rank higher in Google organic searches?

    You need to work on Backlinks and one more thing you can do is buy expire domain and every week and do 301 redirects. Make sure you will check the expired domain Spam score on MOZ.

      Thanks for your helpful reply, I never said I was getting paid to do off-page SEO, I was asking, but now I know, just use the search feature, got it.

        We don't want to run anyone off (besides the spammers and scammers) but there is a long history of people getting a contract for SEO and then coming here asking how to actually do the work.

        It gets tiresome, I'm sure, for helpful people like DABK and others, to keep running into this situation. Moderators don't even allow many commonly asked questions because people should search the forum first before asking them. And repetitive basic questions wear down our good contributors who have answered the same exact question many times before.

        So, as long as you aren't a spammer or scammer, don't get frustrated. There is a ton of stuff to learn from a search. Watch out who you listen to though. You can get a good feel for those that are copy and paste type posters and those who normally provide truly helpful advice. By the way, DABK is one of the latter types.

        After you start learning from your search, feel free to ask a more specific question.

    On site off site blah blah blah... ok fine yeah it gets you so far.. but CONTENT.. and more of it. Not 1 article on X, 10. In regards to SEO.. if Content is king then Context makes the king her Bit-h.

    Focus on on-page SEO first. After indexing check your position and start off-page SEO accordingly. Relevant and Do-follow backlinks will help you to improve your website ranking. It will also boost your organic traffic.

      Agreed. Don't do any shady stuff. Guest posts from high authority domains relevant to your niche helps a lot.

      You can find sites accepting guest posts in ways such as this in Google: intext:"write for us" "guest post" "online marketing (niche here)"

    I would suggest that if your on-site SEO is spot on, then go for guest post on some high authority relevant website. It will help you obtain a high quality backlink, will give you more visibility, keep in mind the anchor text should be relevant as well.

      I would suggest you dont even need to go as far as looking for "High Search Volumes". I actually consider this to be a BIG mistake.

      When you start thinking about "TrustRank", I would suggest that sites with more page 1 listings - and I would say regardless of term ( as long as it is within context ) will rank higher.

      When developing a site I suggest shooting for long tail, low competition, and low volume. get 5 or 10 or 20 PAGES on your site to rank on page 1. You will find past that, ranking for tougher terms becomes easier.

    I think SEO in organic way you can not get much opportunity than paid search results .Paid searches provide fast and expansive services. This form of traffic may be helpful if you are a new company that is just starting or has a short term landing page, but be aware of the costs that can add up over time. Organic traffic without SEO is pretty much useless. However, while organic traffic may become more time consuming, with the correct SEO approach and target keywords, your business can save costs in the long run, fine-tune their product to the customer, and build a sustainable company for the long-term
