Google Question

I am opening a Google AdSense account and need to know if a savings account is acceptable to Google for a bank account, or does it need to be a checking account?

I poured over their help files and even tried to find a phone number to call and ask the question. Got me nowhere fast.

Does anybody know the answer?

You can use either a checking account or saving account.

I'll second that - savings and checking. I have it going to my checking though.

your name should be the same as appears on Bank should be in adsense
