Hi, I ask this question because I'm using it for ecommerce.

I'm just wondering how long it takes so I know how to move forward using Pinterest as a traffic source.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Crafters, artists, and collectors can sell their handcrafted creations, vintage products (at least 20 years old), and both handmade and non-handmade crafting supplies on Etsy.

    New Pins are indexed in Pinterest's search after 4-7 days. However, the Pins are always made public right away and seen to your followers first.

    probably it would take one day for indexation, if not but hardly 2 0r 3 days is enough to be indexed.

    @Gil

    Since you are using Pinterest as a traffic source,
    is it generating any traffic for you?

    I have also been wondering about this.

    Getting your Pinterest pins indexed can happen in a matter of 1-4 days. However, ranking your Pins high in Pinterest search engine can take up to a year. So, continue pinning consistently. Never stop pinning. Pinterest ranking works exactly as other search engines. Consistency is Key to finding success.

    it can take 1 to 2 days but sometime crawlers can crawl the page but decides not to index it so you need to keep this in mind

    Pinterest is a good traffic source as its targets in image format but googles search engines prefer it and I have experienced that people from Pinterest spend more time on websites which means low bounce ratio. So If you are getting highly interactive content and people are getting interactive with your products and if your website has been properly indexed by Google under the coverage section. it can take up to 7 to 14 days to get indexed on Google.

    It takes 4-7 days for new pins to be indexed in Pinterest's search . But the pins are always public immediately and shown first to your followers and those who follow topics you're saving to .
