Changing my Websites Blog URLs

I am considering changing some of my blog links for my site. However, I have a pretty high Google ranking and worried this will hurt my SEO rankings. I am reading you can do this if you use permanent 301 redirects and utilize Google Search Console.

But I am worried it will not work and I will lose my placement with the organic search. Does anyone have any experience with this who can offer some advice?

Hi, basically the drop in positions is inevitable. But if it's all done correctly, the recovery should be rather quick and straightforward.

Also I suggest paying attention to http/https protocol, www or no-www domain variations and to the slash "/" at the end of the page URL

If you put 301 redirects in place properly, you really should not lose anything.

There is nothing you need to do in Search Console. That is only if you are migrating to a new domain.

It's normal to change link structure now and then. For example, we moved from http to https.
Have changed link structure before and NO... there was NO drop in ranking but having 301 redirects is vital.
