I'm curious if anyone knows what factors Keyword Difficulty Check Tool - SEO Logs uses to come up with it's number of easy vs difficult for a keyword?

Probably some variation of KEI. However when I typed in keyword phrases for niches I work I didn't find the tool to be very useful.

I didn't find it very useful either, I was more interested in knowing how they get to their number.
