How Do YOU Rank In A New Niche?

Have you tried using free traffic system? A lot of people have claimed to have great results using this program. I can't really say that I did but I don't feel like I put it to its full use.

I've recently started using Unique Article Wizard which drip feeds backlinks from low pr article directories. I've only been using it for about a week so my review can't carry much weight, but I've been seeing some great positions in the serps for my new website, which I contribute to UAW.

It costs $67, which may be a turn off if you're on a budget.

I would recommend getting into a paid service like UAW that drip feeds backlinks, or use free traffic system if you want to use a free stripped down version of a site that drip feeds articles with backlinks.

Yea go with unique article wizard it works just keep submitting article daily and within 1-2 weeks you'll see a difference in traffic

Penis Enlargement is one of the most competitive niches of man-kind.

It's going to take months of quality backlinks to even scrape the surface, and maybe years (or a pretty big budget) to do "okay".

I'm not the one to crush anyone's dream, but hopefully you are targeting long-tail derivatives of the term "penis enlargement" and similar synonyms.. Otherwise your going to have to invest some time before you expect any reasonable results.

many of my keywords are penis enlargement exercise, how to make my penis bigger, how to get a bigger penis, how do you make your penis bigger etc.

So if I decide to use UAW I need to submit an article each day PER article I want to build links to? I can see this being useful for a single site but submitting 30 articles per day isn't really a viable an option

What I might try after christmas (when I have some more money) is taking the time i would be going through packets, and instead working on a new niche and just write an article a day for UAW instead of trying to cover every article with 80 links a month.

I suppose I could alternate it too, as in spend 2 weeks of a month on half the articles and 2 weeks on the other half. I would only need to write 2-3 per day which isn't too tough at all... I'm considering dropping this niche altogether though maybe I'm just spinning my wheels... It sucks because I had some articles ranking for a couple weeks and made several hundred dollars in that timeframe : /

I mean honestly, I like betta fish and found a guide on CB that I've sold a few copies of with little time investment so even if the comissions are half of the PE product, perhaps it's time to focus on smaller, more easily breached niches...

When I pick a niche that I want to focus on, I do extensive keyword research with regards to # of times the keyword is searched for a month vs how hard it will be for me to rank for these keyword. I pretty much ignore the # of competing pages and just look at the strength of the results on the first page of google for the keyword that I am targetting.

I look at their PR, # of backlinks to the page and how optimized they are onpage for that keyword.

When I have all of this done, I will buy a domain name with the keyword that I have decided is the best in it. For domains I stick to .com, .net or .org. My domain will be 3 words or less and it can have a hyphen in it.

Then I will make a page of post for my other keyword and I always ensure that the keyword is in the URL: http://primarykeyword.com/keyword.

When I have all of my pages in place I start to build links from diverse places e.g, forums, profiles, directory, blogs, etc.

Eventually if I have chosen keywords that I know I can rank for, I will rank sooner rather that later.

The main point here is that I am picking keywords with a decent amount of searches but that I also know that I can rank for.

In my personal experience in competitive niches it is all about the right keywords basically in any niche that is true. It all starts with good kw research and then attack from there. Think of it as building a new home you have to have a strong foundation or your home is going to fall down .

I did a lot of keyword research but it's hard to find a phrase with any search volume that isn't swamped in this niche.

You have a ton of competition. Which would you rather have - wait 6 months to see results, or start on the longtail keywords that only get say 500 to 1000 searches where you won't have as much competition?

It sounds like you know this. And the other thing is don't give up. It could take 3 to 6 months for your acumulated work to really give it the push it needs.

Target one page of your site, for two or three long tail keywords.

Write 10 articles and post to ezinearticles.com as close together one after the other. This will get you some immediate traffic. hmmm, I think you can do PE articles.

Next use free traffic system and use those articles once ezinearticles has posted them. Each article can get you 60 backlinks. Let that go to work for one month. Check where you are starting at the beginning and at about week 3, week 6. It may take two to three months for it to work it's way up, but be patient. Patience and more more patience....

So once you have done the first set, start on another page and do the same. Continue to repeat.

Some pages will need more than 10 articles in free traffic system, in a competitive niche, for sure.

Even after you are where you want to be on first page, be sure to continue building backlinks a few times a month.

Do the long tail keywords first. Then later, move up to your medium size keywords. This way you will get some traffic started.

Then use something like traffic-bug.com ($24.95 mo.) to post your urls and it drips backlinks at about 3 a day for 150, 250 etc backlinks. Then repeat. This is a long term strategy, but it will help you get up there and keep you up.

And if you get a lag, or need some income before 4 months out, work on your beta fish site. It is a smaller niche and you won't feel like you are banging your head on the wall.

The bigger the competition, the longer it will take, unless you have the funds to outsource and hit the backlinks and articles pretty big.

Adult niches and gambling are the most populated niches around. You will need to bust your ass, on quality high pr backlinks for... a good while to even stand a chance, of getting good rankings. Going after longtail, less competitive terms is the key for now.

Really appreciate this! (and all of your responses everyone!) Also, do I need to write all new 500 word articles for FTS? And is the free version actually effective? I also have been focusing on ranking my articles more than my site, the site is nowhere to be seen for the main keyword, whereas many articles are within a page or two of page 1.

No, you do not need new articles for FTS. You can use ones you have all ready written for article directories. make sure EZA publishes your submission first. & Must be 450 words or longer.

Yes the free FTS is effective. I have had some small niches and one medium niche pop up to first page with it. With the medium niche I had done other things, but this final step did it.


Some people are building 500 - 1000 backlinks to an article. That is great if it brings you some traffic, but focus on ranking your site even more, or you are building something for other people and leaving yourself out if anything ever happens. Your site won't be on first page until you build the links to it.

I hate to talk about FTS, as it is like giving away one of my secrets to success for some sites. LOL

I believe that the content does have a great impact to rank well for the new niche keyword. After content, second will be backlinks.
