Google, AARRGGHH

So I started experimenting with IM about 2 years ago. I didn't have any success, so got out of it.

This year, for whatever reason I was inspired to try again. I had a few extra bucks in my google adwords account, so I figured I'd spend it. What do you know I made a sale. Then I did another experiment and made another sale. Then I got to reading about CPA and got signed up with Copeac and made another sale. I was doing lots of experimenting at the time. My AM told me the hot product of the day was this new Google Fast Easy Cash biz kit product. I did some tests, I didn't use the trademarked google name, I was bidding on money as a keyword and my ads were pretty basic like make money online, want to quit your job?, laid off? make money online, etc.

In any case, I didn't like it, so I paused the campaign, because I only delete them if I'm completely done with them. The campaign didn't have much activity anyway, ~3000 views, 5 clicks.

2 months later, I get an email --

So I did some reading online, everyone recommended - get a new IP address, sign up with a new account, with a new credit card. So I did this, and my new account was working like a charm. I did a little testing, got busy in my day job and forgot about it for a few weeks. I just recently started doing some more testing and every ad I setup either goes into "Pending Review" or "Under Review" state and just stays stuck that way forever.

Am I screwed? Is there any recourse? You'd think google would have some sort of appeals process.

  • No, there is no way to appeal. But I think it should be ok if you open an account with a different credit card...
  • Did you change your name on the credit card? Wouldn't Google know is you again?

    • I got one yesterday too. An affiliate manager told me there was a huge slap yesterday. Luckily I have 7 Adwords accounts (well 6 now).

I only promote Clickbank stuff. Wasn't just CPA hat got slapped.

  • If you change everything like credit card, your name, your address, ip address, and everything, I think Google got no way to check. But once Google ban you, they'll never reinstate you, unless you're a good friend of Google, otherwise you'll just pissed off.

    But no idea though.
  • That's one the annoying things about working with google adwords, especially to start. I suggest starting other strategies like SEO, etc.
