Multiple Blogs, Unique IP's OK, But Add Adsense = Footprint?

I am in the process of turning some of my static blogs into automated blogs (just bringing them back to life a bit). Once i see how they perform i may go on a bit of a mission to build multiple Automated Blogs.

The question is...

Even if i use Class C multiple IP Hosting, if i add adsense to the blogs, surely google will see a big footprint generated by my Adsense ID, therefore wiping out the beifit of using high quality Class C multiple IP Hosting?

Or have i missed something/misunderstood?

Any comments or opinions would be much appreciated!

    I haven't done any testing, but when I link sites together the ones without adsense ads seems to outperform the sites with adsense sites. I've heard the same thing about adding Google's tracking to the sites. Which kinda makes you wonder about adding all your sites to Google's webmaster tools as well.

      Yes, it does make you wonder!

      It obviously doesn't hurt some of the guys too badly as there are many earning fantastic amounts of money from adsense!

      Any other opinions?

        Will these be standalone blogs, or do you plan to interlink them or link them to other sites of yours?

          Hello,

          Thanks for taking the time to comment.

          I dont plan on linking them together, and actually have class c hosting, but was thinking that would be a waste if i add my adsense ID, as that may link them all together anyway and create a huge footprint.

          Thats my worry anyway.

            Ther point of multiple class c's is to look like they aren't all controlled by the same person when interlinking.

            Since you aren't going to link them, you have nothing to worry about.

              Thanks for your input!

              I agree, multiple IP's are reducing any footprint i may create and that is 100% the reason for using them

              The huge footprint i am refering to is the adsense id footprint that will stamp right accross all of my multiple ip's, therefore creating the google adsense footprint, my concern is that this negates the effectiveness of using multiple server identities.

              But i am also not sure how big a problem or the effects this will have on my blog network, so i may be worrying about something that really isnt that important.

            I think you're absolutely right about the footprint and that's why I only use Adsense on a site if it's on the first page of Google and the cpc is $1.00 or more. A little less if the traffic is high.

            I use everything from Kontera to Chitika to CPA on the sites that don't meet those requirements because remember the key here is to hide your money sites from Google and Adsense leaves a pretty big java footprint.

            I like for all of my sites to "pay their own way" but not at the expense of having my network discovered and deindexed.

              Yes Dan, i am introducing other ways to monetize the blogs, they are a mixture of allsorts!

            In that case I don't think it would matter as much. However, if these blogs are at all spammy in nature then I wouldn't put AdSense on all of them. In other words, if the idea of someone at Google taking a close look at any of these blogs makes you nervous then that's probably a good clue that you shouldn't put AdSense on all of them. Your AdSense publisher ID is definitely a footprint.

              Hi Phil,

              Actually the blogs i am talking about are part autoblogs, and my concern is that i will be growing the size of these fairly rapidly, so i think i will be keeping adsense away from them until they have aged a little and the sites growth and its position in the serps have settled down.

              or

              I may just stick with other monetization methods full stop!

    If you break the rules, then yes Google have, and the evidence is they will, penalize all sites they find your code on. Just ask the black-hatters when an entire splog network goes down...

      You say if i break the rules?

      Yes as mentioned i use some feeds + auto content generation for my blogs from the many good quality plugins that are available, but i also update some of the sites manually as well!

      If that me breaking the rules then i guess 90% of profitable bloggers are doing the same!

        Can somone please explain what exactly is the scenario
        in this case when google would panish all sites involved?

    I think you are correct, after all if you were Google wouldn't you be looking at that when determining the weighting of incoming links?
