domain keyowrd sequencing

Posted in a different area, but I only got one response.

"someone asked me this, but I don't know the answer.

The keyword is (apple or lime or pineapple)+orange+banana+grape

If you have a domain name that is orange+banana+grape.com, would you be best served to create subdomains for apple, lime and pineapple (apple.orangebananagrape.com) to preserve the sequence or would orangebananagrape.com/apple be just as effective?"

I seriously don't want to tell this person to create over 250 subdomains, but if it means the difference between success and failure, they'll have no choice. What say you?

    Hi Radix,

    There is evidence that Search Engines factor in both proximity as well as word order in their relevancy scores. How big of a difference it makes is debatable, so it may not be worth all that extra effort to do it manually. If it can be done automatically, without much effort, then it couldn't hurt.
