Japanese SEO Hack

Hello warriors,

recently my wordpress site is infected by "Japanese SEO spam or hack" . I have no idea how to deal with it.
when I searched my site in google the search result shows japanese text and links in the title and description.

Also due to this my site lost no1 ranking and now nowhere in the top 100 .

Can anybody help me in this regard

  • Do you have a backup?

    Does your hosting company?

    Use a malware removal tool (sucuri.net is one... Never used it, do not know if it is good, just that it exists).

  • Did You Install a SSL Certificate? If yes Contact to Your Web Hosting Service Provider And Describe Your Issue. It's their Responsibilty To Take Care Of Your site.

  • Thanks for your replies.

    I checked all the files in cpanel ( recently modified) and I found 4 file index.php , robots.txt , shop.php
    and .htacess.

    when I inspect then found some strange codes in index.php and i removed that . also cleaned the robots.txt

    created new sitemap and submitted to google search consol for indexing.

    but after 2 days search results shows japanese text in search results.

    waiting for few more days.

  • 1. Collect all affected urls, and check the HTML code.
    2. Refresh or recreate the sitemap and submit to google with fresh meta tags.
    3.Submit the Japanese hack URLs to google within 3 weeks google will clear the hacked URLs follow disallow for submission.

  • First take backup, and Delete complete site from the Server
    reinstall it again, prior to reinstalling, check the website coding with the help of developer, the developer will check any unwanted script is there or not, then reinstall at the server.

    After that use google search console tool to remove the unwanted titles, descriptions from the URL"s in the SERP... wait it will update in the SERP, also remove unwanted URL's from the SERP using link removal GSC tool.

  • Thanks all the warriors for advice. I am able to get rid of Japanese SEO scam and now my site is working fine and also regain my search engine position .
