That's all well and good if you are selling lower priced goods that young people like. If not, it is wise to remember that older people have far more money than the younger generation so you need to cater your marketing and website pages toward the generation that is most apt to have the money and inclination to buy from you.

I am aware that most of the youngsters cannot read an analog
clock, and that the kids today don't know how to write by hand.

There was an article about a father being shocked that his
12 year old child could not write because all they ever did was
text or use a keyboard.

I also read where some lady said that cashiers at the store did
not know that four quarters make a dollar.

I bought some Febreze air effects spray where the cashier gave
me a 75% discount because the label said it reduces allergens
by 75%. It was part of a larger purchase and I did not notice
what happened until later, or I would have correct her.

I have been on other forums and Discord where they will tell
you they do not read books because they don't have time, and
if they need to learn something, they want other people to tell
them what to do about simple things in life, these aren't even
major conundrums.

And the worst of it is that they (young people) don't think they
need to learn things like facts because they can just look it up
on the internet, so it's scary to think what will happen to them
if they are ever stranded somewhere without access or if the
internet goes down for an extended period of time.

Anyway, I am glad that I am not alone in my sentiments about
the laziness of people these days.
