Any idea how many UK google searches UK only or the whole web

A little point occured to me this morning and I'm wondering if you can help. Here in the UK when we want to do a google search we have the choice underneath the search box of either the web or pages from the UK only.
Does anyone know how many UK based searchers use the UK only oprtion as opposed to the web? Does google publish this split? If it's a web search, will sites with .co.uk receive any special treatment as in the UK pages search? Does it even matter that much? Google is very much a closed but to me as my computer and software skills don't go much beyond point and click!
