Value of UTMs in GMBs

I understand that how utms can be helpful for tracking the things in GA, specially in case of GMBs because one may not be able to know weather it is coming from Direct, organic or GMB. But my question is:

1) Should we use UTMs in GMBs ideally?
2) Are UTMs good for organic ranking i.e. for SEO?

As per my knowledge, UTMs are considered a seperate URLs by google, though right canonical may componsate on that, but still its a seperate url after all. Being an SEO my prime focus is to rank the non UTM urls. With local non UTM urls being ranked, link and rank juice are equally passed onto the GMBs also. Taking this into consideration, one more question arises, why would i even use UTMs at first place in GMB?

So, there is a lot of confusion in this regard. Please let me know what shall be done in this case.

Using UTMs in GMB is beneficial for precise tracking in Google Analytics, as it helps distinguish traffic sources like direct, paid, organic, or GMB.

The only time I ever used UTM is for PPC and paid traffic.

Otherwise, for SEO purposes, UTMs looks ugly and I personally would not be using links with UTM when link building.

Though, UTM are just simply parameters in the URL. I don't think there are any major concerns that will harm SEO, even when you use them for tracking organic traffic. After all, UTM is a built-in feature made by google, so they want you to use it. Nobody really knows how google SEO really works anyways, so just use UTM if you find it useful for your tracking purposes or not.
