SERP Lost

I have a site on #36 on Google.

Last night, I have got backlinks via posting some content on my blogs. I have got about 5-10 links,

My site is not anymore in google.

Am I on penalty? If so, normally, google puts me on last page, even on last page, I am not there...... Any ideas.....

  • Is yours a new site? If yes this looks like a typical Google dancing happening. It usually happens when you try to do too much backlinking for a new site and the SERP moves and sometimes disappears completely for a short time. You will get it back though although how long it takes varies for different people. In the meantime, I suggest you continue doing more backlinking.

    • One site is old one, About 4-6 years, but the page which I want to bring to top is newly created on that site... (E.g: abc.com/xxxxx.htm)

Another one is new one....abt 6 months old...
  • It is impossible to actually "see" ANY change in 24 hours, no matter what.

    Don't worry.
  • Having the site move completely off the map is scary, but there is no way that you can get penalized for 5-10 links. Google is so huge that would be like a billionare keeping track of 1 penny.

    • I don't think we can say like this, Google writes account even for a single penny nowadays.... Isn't?

So, will look for each and everything and increase work load to webmasters...
