I am currently struggling with this issue when I am doing seo and choosing location-based keywords, so these keywords ranked easily on Google, but without targeting location on the keyword website, they do not rank easily, and some pages and keywords do not showing in serp 2 to 3 month. Why does this happen.

Hey, You can improve your content (1000words) and use your global keywords.

  • This happens because location based keywords usually have less competition, so they rank faster. When you remove the location, the keyword becomes more competitive and you start competing with national or global websites that already have strong authority. Also, new pages can take time to be indexed and trusted by Google. Without strong backlinks, content depth, and domain authority, non location keywords usually take longer to appear in SERPs, especially in 2 to 3 months.

This is usually commong with the local seo. Location based keywords rank faster because the competition is lower and Google can clearly match the local intent using signals like service area, NAP consisteny and local relevance. If your webpages are not showing 2-3 months then it is a mix of high competition and weak topical authority. May be Google not seeing the page as the best match for that broder intent. Local terms rewards relevance faster where as non local terms rewards authority over time.
