Hi,

Now "AI" is dominating the internet. Before that, we use to search in any search-engine and got our answer, in the mean time website owner got visitor for his/her website and earned revenue. But people now ask most of the question to AI and AI deliver answer correctly (most of the time). Now my question is, If everyone ask AI for answer then how a Blog owner can keep his/her Blog running...?" Because he/she is not getting visitor from search engine....

Let me know your opinion....

Thanks

  • Not everyone ask AI for the answer. People like me still go to google to type questions. Added to that, AI need data, they will use your blog/website as references to their answers. So, we still need to write haha. But, we can use AI to write!!!!

Great point, especially about AI still needing our writing as a data source. Makes total sense and actually answers what I was wondering. Do you thing Google will start favoring sites that show more "real experience" even if AI is involved?

I appreciate that man, thats what Ive been thinking too.

It feels like google is getting tired of generic content and leaning harder into real experience and real examples.

Almost like ai isnt the issue... its people using ai to mass produce content with no real insight behind it.

Do you think the biggest ranking factor moving forward will be experience based writing or do you think backlinks will always be king no matter what?

AI is a technology, but SEO and blogs are strategic work, so it is important for B2B or B2C business.

When using AI for research, I noticed that it still shows reputable blogs. Not sure how this is decided, though. What are reputable blogs? Not sure. But for sure, blogs still show up as a recommended resource to answer the question the searcher is searching for. Also, some users still use regular search like was said above.

That is a great question. While backlinks will likely stay relevant as a basic signal of popularity, I believe we are moving into an era of relational authority.

Google is getting much better at identifying who is actually behind the content. It is no longer just about having 'experience' written on a page; it is about establishing a track record where both users and search engines recognize you as a reliable source in your specific niche.

My advice is to focus on building that relational trust. Instead of worrying about the next mass-produced AI content wave, focus on creating deep, insightful pieces that solve specific problems for your audience. When you build a name that people trust, they will look for your site directly, and that kind of authority is much harder for an algorithm (or an AI bot) to disrupt than a simple backlink profile.

SEO and blogs aren't dying, but they're changing. AI answers reduce simple "how-to" traffic, so blogs that rely on generic info will struggle. Blogs that add original insight, experience, data, opinions, tools, or communities will still attract users, and AI itself often pulls answers from these sources. The future is fewer clicks, higher-quality content, stronger branding, and multiple traffic channels, not just search.

AI is definitely transforming the way people do searches, but it doesn't make blogs irrelevant. While basic, generic content may lose traffic, but blogs that share real experience, opinions, and original insights still have strong value. Search engines are focusing more on trust, usefulness, and authority, not just keywords.

AI is changing how people search, but blogs are still important because AI depends on website content. Bloggers should focus on unique, high-quality content and build direct traffic through branding and social media.

Blogging is the best way to add new, relevant content to a website.

SEO will be needed as long as Google keeps changing the rules - which is every day!

That said, don't sweat it! People overthink SEO! Focus on what you can do for your prospects and clients relative to your website and use your website to make it easy for your prospective clients to do business with you. If you get that right, SEO won't matter! Why? If a website delivers leads and clients to your business, then you can afford to pay for traffic! Consider building your website with this in mind. THEN... once you have figured out the conversion to cost benefit associated with your website, SEO is gravy.

You are right, things are changing fast. It can feel scary if you run a blog.

But here is the truth. AI gives quick summaries. It does not replace real human experience. People still want detailed guides, comparisons, opinions, and stories from someone who has actually done the work.

Blogging is not ending. Lazy content is. In the future, bloggers who win will be the ones who focus on quality, personality, and trust. Build a small loyal audience. Share real knowledge. Be different, not generic.

Although search habits of people are evolving, SEO isn't going away. More people are using AI tools to find answers. However, blogs are still relevant and it is definitely not a waste of time if the content you post is meaningful and helpful.

I think that people who are used to communicating on a blog will not completely switch to AI communication. After all, artificial intelligence cannot replace real human emotions.

AI aaj Internet par dominate kar raha hai, yeh baat bilkul sach hai. Pehle log Search Engine par query dalte the aur alag-alag websites par jaakar answer padhte the. Isse blog owners ko traffic milta tha aur woh revenue earn karte the.

Lekin ab log directly AI tools se sawaal puchte hain aur unhe instant answer mil jata hai. Iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki blogging khatam ho jayegi -- balki blogging evolve ho rahi hai.

Sabse important baat yeh hai ki AI khud bhi original websites aur bloggers ke content par depend karta hai. Agar quality content hi nahi hoga, to AI ke paas data hi nahi hoga.

    Ab blog owners kya kare?

    Unique aur Experience-Based Content banaye
AI general information deta hai, lekin real-life experience, case studies, personal insights aur deep analysis abhi bhi human bloggers hi better de sakte hain.

Sirf SEO par depend na rahe
    Bloggers ko apni:

    Email list build karni chahiye

Social media audience grow karni chahiye

    Community create karni chahiye

Direct audience hogi to search engine dependency kam ho jayegi.

    Basic info se aage badhe
Agar koi "What is Computer?" puchta hai to AI simple definition de dega.
Lekin agar aapka blog provide kare:

    Step-by-step tutorials

    Practical guides

    Free tools

    Templates

    Real examples

To users website par zaroor aayenge.

    Brand aur Authority build kare
Aaj ke time me sirf content nahi, brand important hai. Log trusted source se information lena pasand karte hain.

Meri opinion me AI low-quality, copy-paste content ko replace karega. Lekin high-value, original aur expert-driven blogs hamesha survive karenge.

Digital world change ho raha hai, lekin opportunities abhi bhi bahut hain -- bas strategy update karni padegi.

SEO and blogging have a strong future, but only for quality, experience-based, and user-focused content. AI and search updates will remove low-quality work, while skilled SEO, helpful blogs, and personal/brand authority will grow in demand.
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[11845179].message }}
  • AI is changing how people search, but blogs still win when they offer original insights, real experience, and depth that AI can't fully replace. Traffic may shift, but value-driven content will always have an audience.
