Today, I just learned that my google adword account got disabled by Google. Be frankly, I am kinda panic till now after I learned that since this afternoon.

I wonder, is it really over for me? I haven't earn my first $1000 and this misfortune already happened on me

As for the reason for this, I still unable to figure it now.

So everyone, I wonder is it really possible to retrieve back my adword account from the Google or start a new adword account under the same credit card and domain name?

and is it disabled equal to ban?

  • It will probably very difficult or impossible to get your account back. There is a new law designed to put an end to this kind of business (ebooks and cpa affiliates etc.) and Google is "updating" their operation to comply with the new situation.

To put it into harsh words: The law thinks of get rich quick affiliates, affiliates of shady products etc. as criminals and wants to stop them. All these things have to be over. The school teaching to do business that way is getting closed.

Google probably does not want to say it that way and talks about bridge pages etc as the reason. Since they earned money from these affiliates over the years they want to avoid this discussion.

I don´t know if you can get your account back, but now is probably the worst time to try.

thats a bit harsh on the affiliate itself.

it was the merchants who created the products, it was the affiliate networks who facilitated the sale of the product, and it was the ad networks who allowed it to run, and it was probably some guru who taught them to set up and run an affiliate account.

all the poor affiliate done was to tried to work in with the system, the merchant walks away, the network walks away and the ad network washes it's hands, the guru sits on a beach as they all desert the poor affiliate after they have done the dirty work for them and as a result punish the lowest level of the pecking order.

      Dirty deeds done dirt cheap.

Yes, but who says the world is fair? These things went on for some years until someone asked the question: Do you think these kind of business practices should be allowed? And nobody can answer: Yes, I think it should. And now there is a new law that probably will get even stricter in time.

It has to stop and nobody cares about who started it all. If you keep trying to do things that way, you will keep getting slapped. It may be a new business opportunity for someone who can invent a way around all this and can get rich by selling his solution to the affiliates.

Judge from you guys response, my adword account future is pretty grim...

I wonder, it is possible to create a new adword account that using the same credit card and domain name?

  • No, of course not. Why would they close your account if you just can open a new one?

What do you want with the new account? Doing the same as with the old one? Google knows people will try to go on and will try to manipulate their rules. That´s why they close accounts definitely.

I once saw a movie. Some guy said he destroyed the web of a spider. Everytime he destroyed the web, the spider built a new one. Until he was so starved that he only could spin 2 threads. Nevertheless, he kept on going building new webs. In order to stop the spider building new webs, he had to kill him. That´s what´s Google is doing. Tracking down these affiliates costs money, so getting rid of them for ever is cheaper.

Google are very smart to catch people those are TOS. You must have done something wrong which you must not

  • You still don´t get it. Nearly all IM products can be called "Get rich quick schemes". How can you advertise for this products without doing something wrong? Even a lot of affiliates think most info products are crap.

Let´s get even more harsh. I once saw another movie where some guy said: It´s better to rule in hell than serve in heaven. To be a good advertiser you have to establish a business where you don´t need to trick people into a sale. Not everybody has the talent to establish such a business. Those people who cannot, try to compensate their failings with some unethical (criminal?) tricks and make a mess. Instead of getting a job (serve in heaven) they try to play some evil tricks so they don´t have to serve anybody and can be their own boss. (rule in hell)

These degenerated misfits, and the world they created, are no option for the future and have to disappear.

This is not meant to insult anybody. But I think people, who are not affiliates and sympathizing with those who have been ripped off, will look at it that way. It´s not about putting more original content on your landing page or something like that. It has to stop.

Google does not put it that way, but they don´t want their visitors to get ripped off by some advertisers and get bad Public Relations.

  • May be it´s lose weight quick or somethineg else questionable. This whole affair seems to be restricted to the US. I did not hear from people advertising in other countries that their account got deleted.

Kevin2....can you tell us what you DID promote? Not what you didn't. That would be more useful to other forum members.

You will need a new identity and domains, credit cards etc to open another account. Even a virtual server unless you get a new computer (they apparently can read the MAC address of your machine) and an ISP or new IP.

It can be done but don't think Google are easy anymore. Good luck.
